Our modular management system for fibre optic cables offers robust, dust-free cable protection that is ideal for colocation, data centre and facility management.
Commduct’s simple design means it can be installed and commissioned swiftly and with minimum disruption. Once installed, easy access covers allow cables to be added or removed with no need for special tools.
To ensure the ultimate protection for your cables, we use halogen free, flame retardant (to UL94/VO) materials which meet the Bellcore NEBS specification. We’ve also taken care to ensure bends are uniform throughout the system, providing full cable protection throughout the entire fibre route.
The system is manufactured in the UK so is readily available to accommodate today’s fast track environment. This also means pricing is stable as currency exchange fluctuations do not affect the cost.
The system is available in metric sizes 50mmx50mm, 100mmx100mm, 200mmx100mm & 300mmx100mm.
Support Comms also offers a comprehensive range of support systems for both high and low level installations together with external couplings with wing nuts to enable a quick ‘minimal tool’ assembly.
Other features offered alongside Commsduct include an ‘excess cable spool’ facility for future installations and a purpose made ‘Fibre Raceway Outlet (FRO)’ accessory, which eliminates the need for on-site cutting and speeds up installation. Unlike any other fibre outlet accessory, Commsduct is installed without the need for tools and with only a 50mm profile above the channel edge, it can be placed anywhere along the channel sidewall.
