All Datatrunk painted steel products are manufactured from 1.5mm (16 Gauge) sheet steel which is produced to BS 1449.
A three stage proprietary degrease and passivation process is then carried out. Following this the products are electrostatically powder coated with polyester powder paint to the customers colour specification. The paint powders used are T.G.I.C. free and non-toxic. They may include additional U.V. discolouration inhibition at the customer’s request. All painted products are cured to the manufacturers specifications, being typically stoved for 15 minutes at 180 C.
